Liz Byatt

Liz is the founder and owner of The Children's Room.  She was born and brought up in Swansea and after spending eighteen years away returned with her husband and son. She trained at the Montessori Centre in London eighteen years ago and has worked in schools in London and the Far East. While living in Singapore she worked in a multicultural school for two years.

She is very pleased to be bringing Montessori to Wales. The Children’s Room is an exciting project for her personally and her team.

Jo Khen

Jo has two teenage children. She graduated from Princess Christian College, Manchester after gaining an  N.N.E.B, R.S.H and college certificate. She worked as a nanny in London before becoming a mother. During this time she also ran a playgroup and studied the Montessori Method. She has been been on the supply list and has worked in various nurseries in Swansea. She is a school Governor at primary and secondary schools levels

Jean Newton

Jean Newton joined us in September 2009.   Jean lives in Dunvant, Swansea and has two daughters, 3 cats and 5 rabbits.  Jean is originally from South Africa where she trained for her Montessori Diploma 17 years ago.  She has worked in schools in London and Northampton before joining us in The Children's Room.  Jean is a wonderful artist and we are very fortunate to have her in Nursery.

Natalie Agravante

Natalie graduated from University of Mindanao in the Philippines with a degree in commerce. Before coming to live in Swansea she worked in Singapore for 10 years as a live in nanny and mothers help. She loves being with children and especially doing creative activities. Natalie has successfully completed an NVQ level 2 in Childcare at Swansea College.
